Today, May 30, 2016, the Philippines House of Representative officially proclaimed Mr. Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Ms. Ma. Leni Robredo as the country's duly-elected President and Vice-President of the Philippines respectively.
The proclamation was formally made by Senate President Franklin Drilon and House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte.
VP elect Leni Robredo was present at the historical event while President elect Mr. Rodrigo Duterte was a no show for the event.
Mr. Duterte became the 16th President while Ms. Robredo is the 14th Vice President of the Philippines! Congratulations and more power!
