My Review:
The film for me was not bad at all! While the majority of the reviews I read is panning for racial issues because most of the cast are white. I think it may be convincing if some Egyptian or Middle Eastern actors have been part of the cast not just part of the population of mortals.
Its story kept to the spirit of the Egyptian pantheon. However there should some narration of explaining their gifts or powers. I recommend doing some research on the Egyptian Gods before going to see it. I was thoroughly entertained, sometimes surprised, and even a little bit inspired. I think children will definitely love this movie because of the many graphics and interesting new characters.
My rating is 7 out of 10 stars *******
